Procedure Approach

Recovery After Labiaplasty
It is recommended that someone drive you home post-surgery. You will receive an antibiotic ointment for the incisions and a sterile dressing for the treatment area. Pain medication will be prescribed to ensure comfort during recovery. The wound dressing must be removed before using the toilet, and the area should be gently cleansed with mild soap and water. Pat the area dry with a clean towel and replace the dressing. Avoid showering for at least 48 hours post-procedure, and refrain from using tampons or engaging in sexual activity for four weeks. Most patients can return to work within two days if comfortable. Adhere to all postoperative instructions to ensure prompt healing.
